More scraps...

I was sitting down today trying to organize all the photos I have on my computer (a lot!), and found
some really nice ones. It's fun looking at pictures you haven't looked at at a long time.
So here are some more scraps for today...

Working with my new tablet

My boyfriend bought me the best present ever for my birthday- a new Wacom graphic tablet.
For those of you who don't know quite well what it is, It's just like the mouse only in the shape of a real pen, which makes it much more accurate and convenient to work with. It has different pressure levels which make the whole thing realistic, as if you were pressing the pen harder on the canvas to achieve a harder line.
It's a wonderful tool for graphic designers, and I can't put it down. :)
Some of the works here were made with the tablet, and some others were not.
The last two were drawn with Illustrator.

Souvenirs from Canada

Both this summer and the last one, my mom and brother went on a summer vacation in Canada.
I joined them only for a couple of days (work is calling..), but it was still fun.
Last summer we spent the weekend in Toronto and at the Niagara falls. The way there is a beauty itself, with the small boutique wineries and the picturesque town Niagara On The Lake which seems to be taken out of a fairy tale. This summer we spent our time only in Toronto area.
Mom and bro continued their journey to Montreal, and then to beautiful Victoria on the west coast.
So...of course, I couldn't help myself but creating some souvenirs from these vacations.

Don't know where this was taken... :)

How it all started...

Most of my adult life I remember myself sitting and playing with Photoshop.
Basically you could say I learned how to use that program on my own, just trying out all sorts of manipulations and options.
When I finished my military service, I participated in a graphics and web design course which lasted a year, during which I learned how to use Illustrator, Freehand, Dreamweaver, Flash and of course-my beloved software Photoshop.
I think I still love it the most.
Recently, I started falling in love with digital scrapbooking.
One can create a precious souvenir with a million forms of design. It's fabulous and so fun to make!
I'd like to show you some of the stuff I made, and I'd love to hear your opinions.

Here are two scraps I made for my colleague's son, Maor.

New 'n' excited!

Hi guys,

I'm new here and pretty much excited about it.
It's been a while since I started wanting having my own blog, and finally I have one. :)
I'll be using that stage for sharing my designs with you.
I'll update my blog quite often with new designs.
Comments are always more than welcome, so feel free to leave a note.

Best regards,
Lee
